"Train the Trainer" Course on How to Use Report Beam (FR300P to TREDS)

July 12, 2011 — Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy
July 14, 2011 — Virginia State Police Academy, Richmond
July 15, 2011 — Hampton Roads Criminal Justice Academy

All trainings will start at 9:00 am unless specified

CLASS OBJECTIVE:
We are providing a train the trainer type course on how to use Report Beam to fill out crash reports (FR300P) and submit the same electronically to the DMV. The DMV system is called TREDS.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS & DETAILS:

• Participants must contact the TREDS team (treds.saveslives@dmv.virginia.gov) for individual logins.

• Participants must register ONLINE

• No more than 2 participants per agency. Please contact Anand Francis (afrancis@vcu.edu) for details.

• Participant must be someone who trains fellow officers on software systems and/or methodologies.

• Participant must have knowledge of filling out FR300P crash reports.

• All participants are encouraged to review the video tutorials available at the TSTC website.

• Participants are encouraged to bring their MDT's with latest version of Report Beam to the training class

• All trainings will start at 9:00 am unless specified
