RADAR Instructor & LIDAR Instructor Certification Classes

ABOUT THE CLASS:
Virginia Highway Safety Office Law Enforcement Liaison Don Allen will facilitate a three-day RADAR instructors class and a two-day LIDAR instructors class February 8-12, 2010 at Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, Lynchburg.

The RADAR instructors class will run from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday, February 8th through Wednesday, February 10th. The instructors will then offer the LIDAR Instructors Class from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11th & Friday, February 12th.

Classes meet DCJS requirements for instructor certification.

Participations may register for BOTH classes; OR, for ONLY the RADAR or LIDAR class.

To sign up for the LIDAR instructor certification however, you must attend the entire week OR currently be a radar instructor prior to the class and attend the last two days only; February 11th and 12th.

No fees required for the classes and your agency does not have to be an affiliate of Central Virginia Academy to register; in-service credits will be awarded for completion of the training.
